They are speculating that it was caused by a failed Russian missile but that seems highly unlikely to me!

Isn't there some kind of auroral research facility similar to HAARP (a smaller facility) in that area? I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with them experimenting with the ionosphere?

I still can't come up with a good explanation.. nor have I seen where anyone else has either.. yet.

Probably, the "missile with a bad gyroscope" excuse will get the most play. Not gonna be able to swallow that.. not after watching the video where the inner spiral lights in the circle quickly rewind themselves --on camera- while leaving only the outermost ring of light intact and unchanged.. kinda reminds me of an "iris".. like on a camera lens... or a door.

Does the hazy blue light reach the ground? If so, where and to what effect?

I dont know what they are.. but.. if they are ETs, they need to find a job if they want to live here!

Conversely.. looking at the "crash smoke trail" highlighted from the video.. if one were to view it backwards, would not the "crash smoke trail" look like exhaust from a missile going up?.. curved and whipping around similar to how wind can shape contrails and plumes of smoke and such?

BUT.. even still, it does not explain the oddity.

Again.. I'm still at a loss for ideas.
